“Greetings to all Germantown Bargaining Unit Employees and a special shoutout to our loyal dues paying Members. During these very difficult times of seemingly endless assaults on the rights of Federal Employees and the ability of your Union leadership to represent and protect you it is extremely important to have a strong Union.
To current Members - Thank You!
To non-Members - PLEASE join NTEU Chapter 228! Your support is desperately needed.
I stepped down as Chapter President nearly a year ago and since that time, I am proud to say Chapter 228 President Kim Parker has represented you in an exemplary manner.
Thankfully our Collective Bargaining Agreement and NTEU have supported me and I am working from home. Otherwise I would have long ago run out of leave and been out of a job. I hope you never have to endure such issues but please remember Chapter 228 will come to your assistance no matter how big or small your needs.
Sincerely,
Barry Clark
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of commendation for Ms. Kim Parker, President, NTEU Chapter 228.
I was recommended to speak with her back in May of 2019 and she responded quickly for my needs. At first, I was very nervous due to my situation. I didn’t know how to go about solving my case. A friend of mine highly recommended Kim, and I made the initial contact to speak with her. I had many questions, and Kim worked with me to answer the questions and all the steps needed for the process. I was immediately made to feel comfortable and at ease with her during the initial meeting. After that, she worked many hours on my case with expertise, patience, and perseverance to keep my rights as a government employee.
Without Kim, I doubt I would have lasted in my situation, I would have given up!
Kim gave me the courage, and I thank Kim from the bottom of my heart for everything she did for me.
Thank you, Kim, for the awesome job!
